The new revolution in surfing taking the surfing world by storm. Stand up paddle or “SUP” is the fastest growing type of surfing in the world as it appeals to many people who have never surfed before. The sport is opening up surfing to waterways and places people never considered to take a surfboard like lakes, rivers and harbors. It involves bigger, more stable boards that can literally be stood on without needing a wave and a paddle is used to propel the rider along.
